Almost there
“Johnny, get down here, your going to be late for school” said Johnny’s mom. “Ill be down in
a second mom,” says Johnny a he sniffs his fix of coke for the morning. He quickly gets ready and stumbles down the
stairs. He says goodbye to his mom as he grabs his pop-tarts and skates to school. As the effects of the cocaine wear off
he finally reaches the apartment of his close friends Ivan and John Doe. In the apartment they discuss what they are going
to do for the day. As he walks in the apartment the fist thing he hears is “Dude, do u have weed man?” says John
Doe who is half awake on the couch “I got a whole pocket full of it man.” Says Johnny. “Toke up!!!!”
screams Ivan who just woke up from the floor from the smell of the weed. When they finish they decided to go to the skating
competition that took place a little later that day. It’s during school so they decide to skip and go to the competition
instead. As they arrive at the competition the weed starts to kick in. they begin to think everything is funny and giggling
at everything. Even there numbers that they get seamed like something to laugh about. So the competition starts. They boys
are just talking and laughing and awaiting there turns. After a few people go its John Doe’s turn. Everyone begins to
chant “John Doe, John Doe, John Doe” because he’s the town’s favorite skater. He drops in and starts
off with some basic tricks. As the run goes on he realizes that the weed is making him focus so he was doing better. After
his run was about to end he fell on a rail when he lost his balance. He nearly smacked his head straight on the rail but was
able to slip his arms under and take the hit. After he fell he didn’t get up for a long while. As he finally stood up
he shook it off. John Doe walks over to his friends and says, “Dude my arm hurts like what, man I think it’s broken”.
“Dude do you think you have to go to the doctor?” Johnny says as he thinks that he might be in trouble because
his mother would find out he skipped school. “I’m sorry man but my arm is killing me I really gotta go to the
hospital” as the boys take an ambulance to the hospital, they realize all the trouble they’re about to get into.
When John Doe gets there the doctor says he’s going to need a blood test. John Doe realizes that the doctor might find
out about the weed, but agrees to it anyway. When the doctor gets back he has
an angry look on his face he realizes what the boys did. He explains to the them how terrible weed is for them and that it’s
ruining their lives. They boys never really realized what they where doing to them selves. Not just that they also thought
about all the money they were using buying the weed. So as they were the for
a good 2 or 3 hours there parents showed up from there work. They all knew that the kids had tried drugs but they had no idea
what they were doing to themselves. The parents requested that each kid got there own drug test to see exactly what they were
on. For John doe and Ivan it was just weed but when Johnny got his test back they all saw that he had cocaine in his blood flow. His mom was especially disappointed
in him she had same him early that morning and knew nothing about it. She was embarrassed of her some, she was ashamed. Later
that day John Doe got his much needed cast and was sent home with his parents along with everyone else and there parents.
After Johnny got home his mom searched his room for any drugs. She found many drugs that she never thought he would ever have.
The next day in school the boys met at school and were talking about how much trouble they were in. they said they never wanted
to have weed again but Johnny was still addicted to the cocaine he didn’t think twice about quitting all he kept thinking
about is where he was going to get more cocaine
